Useful Tips that will aid Students to Prepare for WAEC Examination
West African Examination Council (WAEC) is an external exam conducted in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana and Gambia exclusively for S.S.S. 3 students as a perquisite to obtain admission into tertiary institutions.
There are challenges amongst students preparing for WAEC. Some of these identified challenges are anxiety, exam fever, lack of preparation amongst the concerned candidates.
In this blog, I will post some useful hints that will assist students in preparing for WAEC examination.
Here are the following tips:
1. Use the WAEC Syllabus provided by WAEC.
2. Use textbooks and other reading materials recommended by WAEC.
3. Develop the zeal to pass WAEC.
4. Join a WAEC Study group online and offline.
5. Don't rest your hope on WAEC runs and do not Contemplate on exam malpractice.
6. Draft your personal reading time table.
7. Start reading ahead of exams.
8. Get past and current WAEC past questions.
9. Identify and work on your areas of weakness which include subject you are not good at.
10. Improve your reading and learning speed.
11. Work on your handwriting and spelling.
12. Eliminate all forms of exam fears and anxiety.
